The Firm
28 years ago, Scott Himmel, Architect PC, refocused their nationally established practice to focus on private residential architectural design and interior decoration, often working with many of America’s finest architectural firms. The firm gained a new admiration among its peers for its design excellence in all styles of architecture and interior design, keeping fidelity to the design appropriateness of the space as well as their clients vision; never wavering from their long commitment to their own highly refined sense of architectural detail.
Seeking to support the firm’s passion for interior decoration and furniture design, Scott has twice partnered to bring a new, luxury furniture line to market. The first, Mattaliano, was inspired by the work of Jean Michel Frank his famous group of Parisian artisans of the 1930’s. 17 years later, he helped create Truex American Furniture a carefully curated line inspired by the great post war American Interior designers and their one-of-a-kind creations. Truex was introduced by Architectural Digest and named the Outstanding New Furniture Line of 2015.
